TEMPORARY TOTAL DISABILITY -wage replacement in workers' compensation

If you are unable to work while you are under active medical care during your workers' compensation claim, then you are entitled to Temporary Total Disability Benefits.

Temporary Total Disability Benefits are calcualted to be 70% of your average gross weekly wages up to a state maximum.

Benefits are NOT payable for the first 7 days of initial period unless the Workers' Compensation Court declares the employee to be Temporarily Totally Disabled for more than 21 days.  (In order to invoke this provision, you MUST have a claim filed with the Workers' Compensation Court!)

The Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Act provides limitations upon these benefits as well as some additional benefits.
