Vocational Rehabilitation Benefits
Benefits to an injured worker
Oklahoma Statutes Title 85 Section 16(A)
provides in part:
When, as a result of the injury, the employee is unable to perform the same occupational duties he was performing prior to the injury, the employee shall be entitled to such vocational rehabilitation services . . . which shall include retraining and job placement so as to restore the employee to gainful employment....
If an employee is undergoing Voc Rehab, they may be entitled to
additional financial benefits while pursuing such rehab in good faith.
If Voc-Rehab fails, you should consider seeking both
Permanent Total
Disability benefits from workers' compensation as well as
Social Security
Disability benefits.
